Buttercrunch has thick, juicy leaves that fold into sweet, crisp, tender, loose heads. Wonderful, buttery flavor it is slow to bolt, and remains sweet even after going to seed. Though it is a cold weather crop it holds up to the heat much better than many other lettuces. With creamy-colored, compact heads it is a delectable treat in any salad. 55 – 60 days to harvest.
